S50's are the best motor to come from the E36 line. Yes, the M3 had 2 different types of engines. The 95 have the S50 and the 96-99 have the S52. The main difference is the S50 has a single vanos and the S52 has a double vanos. Other than that, if you can mod them, there faster than you think.

Haha, I'll get over there during lunch tomorrow. I may have to do an exchange, if that is allowed. S14 rear ball joints have a slightly larger diameter, so the one I pressed out of my S13 arm was pretty much useless, haha.

Coming from someone who's done a few 1jz swapped MKIII's, I can fully understand why someone would give up on one. They're a pain in the ass. Of course you won't hear me ever give anyone shit about flipping on projects, just ask anyone at my shop about some of my projects. Hell just look at my S14 race car project, better yet buy the damn thing.

No one will ever buy the remainder of this car, its pretty much just a bare shell with no subframes. Its worthless. I thought seriously about running an S52 in my E30 but I have a built SR just sitting in my engine room with nothing to put it in. Lighter than my M42 with an easy 350whp and cheaper than the same hp from any of the I6's.
