thanks for the worm welcome!
carlova, when i got the car it didnt have one one it, i am in the market for one so if anyone comes across one please let me know. that and lowering springs.
i used to have a red hatch with an rb in it and lots of other goodies that i miss:crying: but i am loving the coupe more since i wanted one to begin with, you just cant beat the shear power up in the rpm's of the rb20's but i also like the low end power of the sr so i guess i wont be happy till the build takes off. well i am about to head out to the braves game so i will prolly be on here tomorrow, later everyone.

last night me chester and dusty went to AMS for the streetwarriorz event. i raced 5 times beat my buddies car with a s14 sr swap 3 times because I have wider tires in the back, got beat by a datsun drag car by 4-5 car lengths, and got beat by a scoob running 17 psi. the scoob only got me by a bumper and i spun half way through first. me and my buddy dusty were having traction problems all night. my buddy dusty is still getting used to draging the s chassis so the only good race i got from his car was with chester driving it so i got to see what the difference was with vtc kicking in. everytime it kicked in he would pull just a tad bit more than me but you would have to be neck and neck to really see the difference.

Hey I was there last night. I talked to you guys after the races. That datsun sounded so annoying.

hmmm...
what suspention you running? stock?
so obviously it squats...
if you had coils you can remove all preload off the rear springs and run a softer setting.
then a slightly larger sway bar will helpout with the roll under a softer setting.
that is, if you want a semi-auto-x and full drag car.
got a vlsd? that will help too if u dont

my diff is welded, and i am running stock springs so that helped out a little on the launches, but their is no prep work going into the track so it sucked and the guy flaging would sit up there with his hands up for way to long. i like getting up there stagging and going like a pro tree. i dont really plan on really draging this car shure i will here and there but drag racing just doesnt really do it for me. this car will be a Time attack/ everything else car but for the most part it will only see roadcourses.

he has a welded diff
& u wouldnt want a larger sway bar in the rear to drag race, in fact the stock one is too large, most drag cars do not run any type of sway bar, it allows for better traction b/c the car squats extremely harder than with one on there
& IMO coilovers wouldnt be good for drag unless u got a drag style coilover such as HKS or Apex-i, i would get adjustable shocks set on the lightest dampen & springs taht had a pretty light spring rate with a slight drop not 2" & run some M/T et streets & u would have no kind of traction problems in a staight line ;)
but as he said, it wont see much drag racing
but my car prob. will see more
