how do i take off and replace an e-brake cable on my s-13??????
You unhook it from the caliper.
Unbolt the bolt that holds it to the subframe.
Unhook it from the handle.
Put in new cable, and reverse of removal to install.

I'm not 100%, but pretty sure if you're trying to get the cable out of the actual drum you have to take the caliper/rotor off and disconnect it from inside the drum on the actual e brake shoes. I just re did mine with R33 stuff, and I know thats how I would of had to of done it on those. Never messed with the stock ebrake before though.
i just did mine yesterday. lol

yeah, you have to take off your rear brakes to disasemble properly. 3 bolts that hold cable guides on subframe, 2 bolts hold ebrake assembly. you can figure out the rest. everything is 10mm bolts

You are correct but S13 e-brakes manually activate the calipers, there is not a seperate drum for the ebrake.

Yea the "seahorse" thing my friend was talking about. But I've never torn em down and wasn't sure if the guts were the same or not.
Best advice, take your time, watch what you do when you take em apart, and put it back together. You learn tons that way.
