I want my rings done, and to fix my oil pressure problem, probably some rod bearings too, where do I go and will I break the $1000 mark?

Do it yourself.
A full rebuild kit from Nissan is like, $188.

Seriously, having someone else do it for you is gonna cost you an arm and a leg.

buy another motor. dont waste your time in a rebuild. just my 2 cents.

cheaper, less hassle. costs you like 300 bucks, maybe.

good luck.

yeah honestly ka24de are so cheap. you can find a decent running when pulled motor for 200 - 300 dollars no problem.

except you'll learn once you rebuild it yourself.
and you wont have questions about it.

rebuild it.
simple rebuild like that shouldnt cost more than 500.

deck the head and timing covers while youre at it.
re-hone,
freshen the head.
you'll be fine.

do it yourself.
