I slide around in my E30 all the time. But I just got a J30 abs diff in my 240. WOW. Unlike anything I've driven before. Almost effortless. And the car just seemed to balance itself out on its own. I only slide twice, I have to get my drive shaft shortend... but now I'm scared... I don't know if I'm going to be able to behave anymore...

hmmm...it makes that much more of a difference? Any difference in street driving, or it mainly when sliding?

welcome!
Did you not read what he put?
Jorgen, I did not figure it would make that much of a difference. Well now that I think about it your going from one car to another and not all cars are the same.

Not sure about street driving, as I havn't taken it to far. Need to get driveshaft fixed... but yea, going from open to a j30 was a huge difference. I did powerslides. Just yank and gas and WOW! Now I understand why 240's are the chosen drift cars.

if you are asking why your 240 drifts better than your e30. maybe you just feel better driving the 240.
not to mention the gear ratio differance!!!

not asking. just amazed by the difference. i mean it really feels like the car was just made for it.
