New Ads at the Top

Thought you might have noticed that there now google ads at the top of the site under the nav bar. I'm trying them out to see if they get us some revenue. It would be nice if we had a budget to start doing some bigger things.

I've never really liked the idea of ads because they clutter the site but these are small and will hopefully help...

Well I just set it up but I believe if you see an ad that you like just click it. I think we get a certain credit for ads when they are displayed and more credit when they are clicked.

I think my Google account is still pending tho so it might be a moment before the ads are correct.

I have AdBlock for Firefox so I don't see it.

Heh, yeah. I had to do something... Server got more expensive and people don't donate all the time so this should help :). We have had a few new sponsors lately tho!

I'm assuming once my ADSense account goes through it will be content that is related to the site and the search box will go away...

yeah I've used google adsense a bit and it is kind of slow at getting relevant ads at first, and it might randomly revert back to to search bar from time to time but overall it's not bad
