the unit has power, new fuse and the am/fm radio does work. it has a detachable face that folds down and it seems secure, when I put in a cd I hear a slight winding type noise then the display reads "cd err"

can I reset this thing? any suggestions? thanks!

lens is fogged and/or inner unit is prob fried. get a new RDO. sorry

You can try resetting it, but something could be wrong with the track the lens runs on. How old is it? You may just be forced to get a new cd player, or just plug in an mp3 player if you have an aux/in....
