I have been thinking about what sort of security system to put in the 13. I realized, I don't want a alarm, they are just too noisy. I was thinking should I get a kill-switch or a quick release hub when I get my steering wheel.
Make an ignition kill switch, and a fuel pump kill switch, its not that hard.

I am not sure if Flip is still doing them or not, but Flip will install his "Flip Switch" for a price.
Lol, or you can make your own switch, and save a ton of money.
I really want to make some resident evil style shit , like, you get in my car and its like "Move the red crystal to the back seat, then figure the sequence of the 13 toggle switches, and then pat the brake 4 times to unlock the steering wheel, then wait for it, and flip the other 13 switches"

haha That would be pretty pimp... have a switch board that you had to do a certain combo to turn things on... lol
True, but if he isnt technially capable enough or just plain doesnt have the time I know Flip was doing those for people a while ago.
I dunno, I always liked the idea of taking a steering wheel, but then again, its not hard to pull a hub, lol, and put another wheel on, not to mention, then I have to carry around a fucking steering wheel all day.

The only thing I like about the removable wheels i that I can have a normal driving wheel then a motor sports wheel that I can have more of a yoke type thing than a wheel since I dont have to do a complete wheel turn very often when I am running the mountain or autoxing.

The Flip switch is awesome.:goodjob:
The button... Not so much. My button was broke 8-9 months ago because a douchebag tried to steal my car, had my keys and could not get it started. Gwinnett Po-po made a new friend that night thanks to Flip. He got right on finding me a replacement...:ninja:
No worries though, the button still works I just have to keep a small nail in my car to activate the killswitch and my new button is in the mail I'm sure. Damn Postal service.

Downtown, by Turner field :)
No but really, anywhere that a thief wouldnt look. Under the dash on the passenger side, behind the ash tray, etc. Dont throw it right under the sterring column or in the center console.

Mine is smack dab in the center console for everyone to see. The button is just how you turn it on, not how you deactivate it...
The guy broke it trying to figure it out.

If you do make a kill switch of some sort, don't put it in an obvious place. People who steal cars for a living already know just about every place you could put one. Be creative.
I know this isn't TOO creative, but I once made on and installed it beside the shifter UNDER the console. To switch it on/off, you would have to put your hand inside the shift boot from the top and reach around for it. Ehh, I don't think I"m explaining it well. I'm gonna give Paint a go real quick:
