Truff and I know the headunit works...
What does overcurrent mean on an amp? The light came on and the amp quit working. I checked all the wires, fuses, and grounds. I then replaced the amp with another one that I had using the existing wires, and it works...
Is the amp fried?

Sounds like you fried the amp, when that light comes on you have either overheated from running it to high or its done!

Make sure that your ground wire is hooked up. in i think all nissans there is no ground in the harness. you have ground to your chassis which you can do right behind where the radio goes.

are you using a wiring harness or are you tying in on the original wires? if your using a wiring harness check to make sure that the car harness has a ground. most dont but you can just ground to chassis somewhere.

What exactly do you mean by junction box? a new fuse box? idk? could have possibly fried a fuse!

I relocated my head unit under my passenger seat. The front door speakers only worked sometimes before and after the relocation but now only work every few weeks or so. The door tweaters always worked though.
What the hell?

Some amps are capable at running at a higher current than others. Depends on how much resistance the amp is seeing in the load it is pushing. Perhaps you were trying to push the amp too hard. Could be damaged, could be an amp fuse or something.
