without shroud, with silicon hoses. $270
I could make a fiberglass shroud... but idk how that would hold up with the heat...
any reason i should not use a CXRacing Radiator?
also, i plan on deleting clutch fan.
i do need a new radiator, because my old one is clogging and cant use thermostat...

im using one with my rb20 with no electric fans at all and no clutch fan either. i have yet to se the temp run high (even at the strip)and the fitment was spot on. i would reccomend them to anyone.

you people are retarded for not running fans
maybe in this weather your car wont overheat
give it a few months
go beat the shit out of your car and tell me what happens without fans

My motor is not at risk, it was installed in june and ran HARD at the strip and everywhere else. I had to remove the electric fan on my rb20 in july bc my engine wouldnt get up to operating temp. The hottest my car has ran is 188 (autometer temp gauge) and that was in the summer at the drag strip. If i had the slightest thought that it was going to run hot i would put it back in but until then it will stay as is. You shouldnt knock other peoples setups unless you know it yourself.

If your car wouldn't get up to operating temp you have another prob. not jsut that you needed to remove your fans. they are there for a reason. CXracing rads. are good IMO. I have 2.

i can dig this-some setups just run very well and cool. with my old sr setup, i had one electric fan with thermosthat on ka radiator and it NEVER ran anywhere close to hot(daily 285 jam, drift, drag). this is why i dont understand how some people spend ~$300 on a radiator and another ~150 for the flexalite fans and another $80 for PROPER samco hoses for absolutely no reason other to say "yea my non-show quality car runs a koyo with flexalite fans". im not bashing the setup(evidentally it works), but you cannot logically say it is needed because it's not.

We had a customer with one of these, and we couldn't figure out why it would overheat.... Then we looked inside the radiator, and the flu's for the water to pass through are so thin = suck.
