Yep, and it's easy to find a job once you have a resume with job history and the such. Honestly, the easiest way to get some experience is retail. However, it really doesn't pay that well. I like my job though. I come in, put on some headphones, check forums, and search criminal histories. I couldn't have gotten where I am without a lengthy job history though. Before this job, I was an assistant store manager at Blockbuster for 3 years. Networking and references really do help.

Exactly. I've had three jobs. My first job was a bookkeeper at Ingles from 15-18, second job was at Blockbuster from 17-20 (worked at Blockbuster while at Ingles), and third job was at Choicepoint from 19-present (also worked both for a year). I haven't had a day without a job from 15, and I don't regret it. People don't realize that even if you don't list a job on an application, it still shows up on your employment report. I know this since I can run social security numbers at work and pull up every job that you had income tax for. Good work ethics are the most important thing. This helps prevent you from being fired, and doesn't burn bridges when you leave the company. It would be a waste to work somewhere 3 years and not be able to use them as a reference.

Well, they do work if you know where to look. The trick is to weed through the scams and find the real ones. I have four I actively receive surveys for, and I have checks coming in about every couple days. They're pretty small though. However, the total amount of everything comes out to about $50.00 - $75.00. Sometimes I get lucky and get an invite to a focus group or something. Those usually pay about $50.00 by themselves for a few hours of your time. I do them while I'm at work :lmfao: . It's like getting paid to get paid.

Yep lol! All my friends drive 240's though. Once I pay down some bills I'm gonna get a 240 as a second car. I like the 3. I got the Grand Touring with heated leather, HIDs, 2.3L 165HP engine, and 5 speed of course. It's front wheel drive, but soon enough I'll have the best of both worlds! Riding lawn mowers are fun. I'm not too sure it would be a good idea though considering I have totalled a golf cart. :bump: Taking the governor off and crashing into a tree at 40 MPH in a golf cart kinda hurts.

Yeah, I bought mine new and had $5,000.00 taken off the sticker. I've always wanted one too. I like the 350z, but I'd rather eventually get a 240. And, I'm 6 ft 6. I got the hatch so I would fit fine.

well, for the segment of cars the mazda 3 is in (civic, sentra, various kias and hyundais, corolla, matrix, cobalt), you can't get a better looking car. I would love to have a Z, but some people who can only afford to have one car might actually need to haul around something substantial like say, a lunch box.

Hehe, true. It's a real tight fight in an s14, but I can fit in a s13 hatch no problem. I'm more than likely going to get a hatch and work with that. I wanted to go CA18 for awhile, but I'll probably just settle on getting a shell and swaping in an SR20.

That is true. Plus, it's the only car in its class to offer HIDs, heated leather interior, LED taillights, BOSE system, Dynamic Stability Control AND Traction Control (I turn it off all the time :gay: ) all for under $20,000.00. Plus, I like having all the features of a luxury car and half the cost. And, you can carry around anything in the hatch. I've had two 36 inch tvs, a 21 inch CRT monitor, 17 inch LCD monitor, tools, table, and a few miscellanous things all in the car at the same time. A 350Z wouldn't even be able to handle one tv. LOL
if you want money.
Sell your self to old desperately lonely women.
$$$!
LOL!
I work @ Cingular/AT&T, it's got its perks!
We work on Hourly+commission, so its completely depends on how much you try to sell phones+services.
But of course.. the hourly pay gives you a minimum amount you can earn, so its safe ground!
Working @ retail is a PITA, but if you get commission, its entirely up to you!, so if you're a hardworker, you'll earn more! :)
This bi-weekly pay.. I got bonus + extra commission.. made a HUGE difference in pay, and it are going to saving! heehe
