Anyone know where to get cheap tire?

Mods not sure if this is the right place or not so move if i is bad at internetz.

I'm poor and need tires for the drift things comin up (gonna make the july 15 and hopefully the august 11). Where can i get cheap tires? New or used doesn't matter. These will be my first events so i don't need something insane, the harder the compound the better. Come on guys i know someone knows someone that can hook me up. Thanks

you should go to junkyard and buy steelies with decent tires from them. all you need is four. should be like 80 bucks or so, maybe alot less too. you pick them out and stuff. and you can swap the steelies out and burn them up with no heart ache. no need to spent more on tire mounting and balancing.

Next time you're in athens, there's a place off lexington that has used tires in good shape for pretty cheap. I got 4 used tires, mounted and balanced from them for under $100.

Hahah mounting and balancing, who needs that? Steelies are a good idea i suppose...I'll have to look around, all the junkyards i know are super expensive with there shitty wheels.

ok cool. If you're coming from loop 10 on lexington towards downtown, it's on the right just a little ways down past the dairy queen that's on the left. It's a red and white building. I can't remember the name of it. Also, the LOVE 240's over there. It's pretty funny. They'll probably ask you all kinds of questions about your car.

Damn thats such a sweet deal but both my cars are stock SE's so they are 16 inch wheels and 5-lug ruling out cash's steelies.
