How's this? My brother in law can do this for around $500-600 including paint, if you sand and do your own body work. It doesn't get any cheaper than that, after his expenses he makes about $100.

well i know a guy who owns D&J customs right next to Jarco. he does a really good job cuz its really all he does like painting motorcycles, cars, and helmets and stuff. and its not a bad price for $1,500 for the whole car. and i think thats including all the door jams and engine bay. but i'll have to check. i was just seeing if anyone else knew of some one who could do it cheaper. BESIDES macco cuz that paint would just wash off haha. thanks guys.

Spray glo expects you to fully prep a car within 45 minutes.

Prepping is where the work is. Painting is easy.

If you prep your car yourself, and possibly even get a good layer of primer on there, Macco will look great.

na..
maaco is much better than that.
if you do your own prep and slide in a $50 or so to the painter.

i used to "experiment" with the "$50" paint job, but its no good..
now, i inform people to not do it, because, in fact, its not only "$50", but after the sand papers, waxes, polishes, pads, rollers, paint, etc. etc., you would have yourself a nice single stage paint job at home.
