I am interested in making my own brake ducting for my car, as well as ducting for cold air for the turbo intake. Brake ducts show a drastic difference in braking temperatures - one guy in my other car club did a test at a track day in his S2000 and covered one duct up and let the other flow and tested the temperature in his brakes. I believe it was something ridiculous like 80 degrees hotter on the brakes that were covered.
We can buy the materials in bulk and all install one day. The cost would be approximately 75-100 per person and each car would take around 3-4 hours to complete, so everyone would have to be working on their own car and have a main helper or something.
I would host but I have no driveway nor covered area on the street I live on, and since it's getting cold out we'd need a large enough area that's covered/heated. Or we could just wait until spring...
Who's interested?
Here's a link to some ducting I found quickly on Ebay for 11 feet - which would probably be good for two cars. There are also fittings/reducers/hose clamps that we'd need as well and I can start doing research for exactly what materials we'll need and where the best place to order is.
