My car overheated on Friday and I hade to get it towed home. Ever since then my car won’t pull anymore. I thought it was in my head so I raced my friend and I usually get him by 1 car but my car didn’t pull. I checked everything and I can’t see what’s wrong. I think since it overheated it hurt the motor. Anyone have a clue?

it smokes a little and you have lost all compression. time to get an SR20det. i may be selling the motor in my car.
its new.
sorry to hear that and yes, there is a hole in the side of the block and you dont know it yet. and on top of that all your valves are melted and you need to put and egg in the radiator.
you need to change you seats coz you cant feel the car pull very hard also while accelarating. i may be selling mine too.
cheers.

headgasket
head gasket or boost leak?
if it were the head gasket wouldn't it over heat tho? Unless the temp sensor is dead and not reading right...

the headgasket can have a small tear in it.. not enough to overheat but enough to notice a power/compression difference

He doesn't have an SR, so it is most likely head gasket.
Just do a compression test.

it happened to me when my spark plug went dead. check your spark plugs then check your radiatior, if there is no oil in the water then it's not the headgasket.i hate compression test, it makes me nervous.
Good luck.

not always true
the head gasket can tear in tons of different places
it might not tear where oil passes through it and where coolant passes through it ...
it could even just tear and have no coolant / oil leak at all
edit
its only noticable when the headgasket breaks along a coolant / oil line...
