How do you guys learn to drift? I want to learn, but I have no where to practice legally. I mess around in parking lots sometimes, but I dont get enough time to actually learn anything.

just take your car up to helen, GA. keep going up hill close to Young Harris college.. ok.


wear a helmet, blast your music, hold a cup of coffee in you hand, wear whity tighties, wear one sock only, take your shirt off and tie your left arm to the steering wheel.
you can, try to maintain about 85 mph on the speedometer. at some point you will hit about 85 mph, then your tires will spin, and you will actually be going slower, but wheel speed will still show 85 mph. come down the mountain, rest for about 30 minutes and enjoy the women in helen GA, then head back up again.

dont worry about the cops there, they wont chase you or anyting, they just hang out at the bottom of Helen, ga and chill, they dont have good devices and old car, and all they care is underage sale of alchohol in helen itself.... you are all set buddy.

Dont bother! Just go to a shop.... cheaper and safer. Its like 10$ to mount them.

i went to a place down in buford hwy around beaver ruin and i got a pair of tires for like 25 mounted, they only have used tires but they have good tread + i got to use 'em in two different events, + if u give them any tire u get $5 off,
i dont know the name though, but people knows them because they are located on buford in a little yellow house... if u need more info i can tru to be more specific

nah, dont worry anout that... basically at an event u have like 3 or 4 runs each group, thats about 20 mins approx, so thats the only time u wear it... its cool... haha, no biggie! worry about ur car first, thats more important

To everyone that wants to learn! This is deff. the event to go to!!! Everyone is friendly, and they understand that you don't know what you're doing. They were all at this point once too. Just pick an event and register! Make sure to have tires, a helmet and fresh oil. Thats pretty much all you need besides little things like battery tie down which most of us already have. Just check out the dgtrials web site...

anything tire, mounting, balancing, alignment, etc related = GTE. The only place worth using. Try them once you will never go anywhere else.
