View Full Version : Huge thanks to Tyler (hellfire)
I just wanted to extend a HUGE thanks to Tyler for all of the help and support he's put into our community here at 240Atlanta. He's been with us since pretty early in the game and has come a long way just as we have thanks to his help.
In the early stages of creating 240Atlanta I came up with some ground rules. One of which was that I wouldn't have any mods or admins that were shop owners to keep the site unbiased regardless of any shop affiliation. When I recruited Tyler as a mod he wasn't a shop owner. He slowly built a customer base and now is the owner of a full blown shop! He services many of our users here.
This all has made for a very difficult decision. I've decided to relieve Tyler of his duties as a mod so he can concentrate solely on his business and being a vendor. Again, this was very difficult to come to this decision and I wanted to extend my sincere thanks to Tyler for all of his help and dedication... He still has a large influence in our community and will always be a 240Atlanta VIP :).

About a years worth of pondering. It was a decision I had already made not to have shop owners as mods. That was before I even knew Tyler.
Nothing brought the decision on, I just eventually had to come to a decision.

Well congrats to Tyler for having a shop. .. rules being rules, I can imagine if forced to choose between the two, the Mod power had to go, lol.

I've thought about that. I'm not sure if who everyone wants would be the same as who is best for the position... I've already got 3 people in mind and I think everyone would agree on my decision but we'll see :).

I say Flip knows who to pick... its not to hard to find a good soul person around here that will keep it professional and all business... don't get stuff like this mixed up with the buddy system. We all know how that goes...
