nsfw avatar / signatures

It doesnt bother me at home. but i browse in the lab at school... and i know some folks who browse at work dont like seeing chicks in bikinis and dancing around stage. i have to scroll really fast through some of the members posts becuase its NSFW. nsfw means anything less than normal attire. so... i know this is a rule already but its not enforced and its slowly getting worse from what ive seen.

i think it should be safe tosay that if you are at work, and you do not browse in off topic. / eye candy / sponsors lounge you shouldnt see anything NSFW.

Some avatars make me wish those were off, but not too many of those.

well i like signatures. and i dont think that a member having a bad signature should ever drive a person to turn signatures off. thats not how it works. and you cant turn avatars off. so that poses a problem. what should you do about that say? you should enforce rules. lol.

I had to block a few avatars as well, using ad-block in FireFox.

mods should just remove the stuff... but there arent any active mods on the forums. flip started enforcing things for about a week then dropped off again. none of the mods do anything anymore. lol

yep. most people dont bother looking at the screens int he computer lab. but its still a nuisance to have to see that while in here.

Agreed. I don't like having to scroll past stuff quickly. I have people walking into my cube at work all the time and even though I don't browse the forums a lot from work, I still don't want to have that worry in my mind...

Aren't you the king of posting in the eye candy forum? Seems like a slightly hypocritical statement to be making, but whatev.

Personally I don't care. I'm on the forum from time to time at school, and if people are being nosy, then it's their problem if they see someone's sig that's a little risque (I'm talking about my infamous old sigs as well). Should complete nudity be allowed? No. Should scantily clad/underwear images and gifs be allowed? Do as you wish.. it's your sig. If people don't like it, then they can turn sigs off or whatev.
