the rear 5 lug conversion can be found from a z32. / s14 SE. you can buy JUST the hubs from nissan for 112 dollars each. but go to a junkyard that has imports, and ask for 300zx

$1024 for great brakes and 5 lug on my s14. rears are all bolt on w/out mods. just change the backing plate from your rear knuckles over onto the r33 ones and bolt them in, hooking the e-brake cables into your stock brackets

If you're staying with stock brakes it is.
Obviously you will need 5 lug rotors, but i assume you just get the s14 5 lug rotors. will the stock calipers fit?

I have an S13, on the rear I used 300z rear hubs, s14 5-lug rotors and kept the stock brakes. Everything bolted up and works just like it came from the factory. Up front I used a complete Silvia S14 turbo front set-up. LCA's, hubs, spindels, brakes(which are the same as iron 300z brakes) that I bought from JARCO. Literally removed three bolts dropped out the old, in with the new. You do need sleeves for the bolts in the shock mounts going from S13 to S14 spindels.

My cost was:
Complete front hubs - $400
300z rear brakes (that I didn't use) - $125ish I forget really...
300z to s13 SS brake lines $125 (for the front)
300z rear hubs - $75
Brembo slotted rotors front and rear - a lot
Sleeve adaptors for the spindels - $32

Entire OEM set-up and not wishing I was 5-lug - Priceless

im sorry, thats a lot of money.Yeah, but you could save money by going with just finding the hubs and spindels you need at a junkyard, Q45 front brakes, using rotor blanks, staying stock brakes rear and still have great braking power. The factory brakes weren't adequate for a stock 240, let alone one with the God-like SR POWA!!!!!

Important thing is to keep an eye out and take your time. When you're in a rush to buy is when you'll spend the most. Collect the pieces as you find them, not as you shop for them...

as soon as you swap you will find @ least 10 sets of excellent 4-lug wheels. just letting you know so you don't go kill yourself.

cheack into used JDM wheel sites. alot of jdm wheels are 4/5 lug. i have owned 4 sets all b/c i knew i was gonna "one day" go 5 lug. those are your best bet, esp. since it allows you to do fronts or backs @ different times like i did. GLMang

^^ quoted for truth.. i think every wheel that i want now is 4 lug.. and i cant get them.. lol but w.e im just going to get mb weapons when i get the money...
