WTB LSD FOR THE S14

alright, well i've almost got everything put together how i wanted, now i just need to get HELLFIRE to do my 5 spd swap, which will be sometime next week, just depending on when my clutch kit comes in the mail. but yeah i figured while he was working on it to go ahead and get a VLSD rear end installed at the same time. so if anyone has a rear end for sale. LMK. ASAP. thanks

Haha, no, I didn't use it in my car because I bought another LSD for what it would have cost me to put new axles/buy LSD output shafts in mine. I have faith in it. Its not leaking (except because I didn't put a new gasket on it when I swapped covers) and it spins fine. Hell, I might as well keep it in case I kill the S14 one. Seeing as I'll have a set of 6bolt output shafts to go in it, or I'll just try it out in the hatch. It's almost worth the cost of some axles to me, just to see if it will work well.


I cant say its a great rear end when I don't personally know, seeing that I never drove with it. But by using common sense, and by popping the cover just to make sure the gears weren't hurt/there was no play in it, I would say it would be fine. Hell, my Z LSD has less miles on it than my S14 one.

Hmmm, I really should try it out in one of them. I just get tired of having to re-rtv the damned covers.

It has an S14 cover on it right now... And yeah, youd need J30 axles, or some LSD output flanges

Haha, Josh moved in at my house a while back, we go way back. I just think its funny that he puts a WTB thread for something I have sitting at the house, expecially after I offered him the hookup price on it. And he asks the same question about a conversation that we've had many times, about which LSD will work with what.
