the point is so theives get to know the members here. i think we should have a section where you need 500 posts to view it. and that section should be calld the members thread.
then it wont be a bunch of idiots scoping out car parts.

I very seriously doubt Flip put the minimum post on viewing the member builds to discourage thieves, but thats besides the point. Tell your friend to post more :)

that was his thinking.
we have had a history of theft from members of this forum. he put that there to prevent it.

the point is that theives dont like to make themselves known on the forums. they want to steal parts from members who brag bout their new baller stuff they have. thats the point.
the thefts that took place about a year ago were very unknowledgeable 240 people. stealing stock mafs, leaving z32 mafs, stealing stock calipers, leaving z32 calipers. ect ect. stupid stuff like that. so we asume they wernet on the forums. and just a random honda theif turning into a nissan theif.
but regardless. it makes it so you cannot be a visitor and view the thread. it also makes it so you cannot view it if you just joined or have 2 posts.
its like closing your blinds so theives dont see your widescreen. you let your family and friends see it. and not theives.

i wasn't tryi nto be a dick in my previous posts about it but you of course always have to be a dick in your responses. i wasn't aware of the thefts on here thats why the post count made absolutely no sense to me.

read the threads.
alarm systems didnt stop some of the theives. some ppl even had cutoffs and the car was still stolen. theres a few cars that no one knew how they were moved. so a tow truck was asumed.
but seirously. the only effective "security" system is a gps.

people steal little stuff like tooth picks, pieces of gum, quarters, canybars, drinks from vending machines, credit cards, cash, jewlery, GPS, radios, car parts, and many many people have killed for money.

Makes perfect sense to me. You can leave your car in your driveway. If you leave your keys in it or take them out, it can still be stolen. If you take the keys out, its one more thing that the thief has to do to get your car tho so it will deter him from taking the car. Everything helps...

if you cant do that then you could be leaving your car vunerable.
idk about you but im always paranoid. i know how i could steal something / commit a crime / if i wanted to. but i dont. but my mind still thinks like that. so i could prevent things by being able to recognise vunerabilities.
for instince. you know how you guys strip all that plastic stuff out of your fender wells and bumpers and stuff? well you know that you can open your hood from the latch itself not just inside the car right?. leave the plastic in there and it keeps theives hands out of your junk.
