F**king brakes.

OK, so I bought some z32 brakes for my car because my rears don't release all the way. I've replaced both calipers at one point or another and still nothing. One of the ebrakes doesn't work at all now for some reason. (Didn't do anything different than when I changed the other one...) So here's where I'm at now. I have rear calipers, pads, 4 rotors, ebrake cables, and conversion lines (still missing front calipers and pads). After doing a bit of research, it says I need the z32 non turbo hubs. Is there any way around this, or is that another part I'm going to have to shell out for? Also, do I have to use the drum brakes in the back? If so, I may just sell all of my z32 shit now and say f**kit. Seriously, I hate brakes. They serve a good purpose, but when it comes to working on them... blah.

I have Z32 brakes in the front and stock in the rear, works for me. Far as I know, yes you have to use non-turbo rear hubs, but you you have to do that anyway to 5-lug. Unless you drive an S14 that's already 5-lug then I have no idea... Hope that helps...:sad:

Z32 rears have the internal drum on the rotor, just splice the cables, and rock and roll.

I have a 5 lug s14. So I guess I just need the hubs. I won't be splicing though since I payed $110 for the correct part.

should've just bought the r33 rear subframe. jarco = $400. lower diff, stiffer rear, 5 lug hubs, axles, ebrake cables,

then you need 30mm rotors
30mm calipers
new soft lines
brake fluid
new pads/shoes

I think I may just have to save it for my s13... If I've gotto buy hubs anyways, I might as well get a whole set. Once I sell my galant vr4, I plan on making an s13.4b hatch. SO perdy. ;)

In the mean time, I have to figure out what the fuck is wrong with my rear brakes on the s14 now.
