Thinking about selling my 93 coupe. Car is green, only available in 93....

Car has Ksport coil overs, 5 lug swap with moog ball joints brembo rotors and OEM pads all around. 16" chrome Momo wheels, comes with two Maxima 15" rims as well, welded diff, and a completely 100% stock drivetrain. I bought the car from the original owner four months ago and it was entirely stock with all maintenance records. Odometer reads 101K. The interior is in very good shape with a stain on the passenger side and sagging seat covers. Original paint that's faded on both bumpers, clean car fax... in all honesty one of the cleanest, OEM, coupes I've ever seen.
Forgot: The throwout bearing has started making noise in the past month. Would obdviously be fixed with the SR
I've also got a very clean black top in my garage debating on wether or not I want to install it in the car.

I'm thinking with all that, I'd sell the car today for $5500... or put the SR in and sell it for $8500.

I know the prices are a little steep for this crowd, but I've seen people sell coupes with sides full of bondo and pep boys rims for $5k. This car is very clean.

I like it a lot, looks very very clean. I love the coupes in that dark green, and also the dark red... and i have to say white because mine is white... I don't think im allowed to hate the color of my own car?

Car was hit in driver's quarte and now is totalled, but still drives straight with no frame damage. Would anybody be willing to buy the car as it is for $2000?

im sorry, but i dont understand how the price was 5.5k with those mods..
given the car is clean, thats one crazy price tag.

same with your totalled price..
you'd make more by parting what you have in the car.

I was shooting high on the price, seeing a clean coupe with no mods goes for $3500 -4000 in auto trader. This one has a set of $800 coil overs with a ~$1000 five lug swap not to mention the wheels, that you cant even put a price on since they're nearly 15 years old in MINT condition. So I think $5k for a good runing coupe with those mods is reasonable seeing what people buy for 3 and 4k

Totalled price... add up the parts in the car that can be salvaged.

a clean 91-91 fron end ~$400-500
Ka with 5 speed ~$400
coil overs ~$500
wheels and five lug swap $~1000
clean interior ~$250
no wing trunk ~$100
welded diff ~$75
clean doors with no dings/bondo ~$300-400

You could easily make money off this car if you have time and space.

Thats easily 3K not to mention other small parts that could be sold. Making $1000 off this car with roughly one days labor to seperate everything. Sounds good to me

LOL!
buddy, i know what a MINT condition car sells for.

I've owned and sold em way before the prices for the 240sx started dropping and I sold it for only $3650.

There is no way in hell that car will go for 5.5k
LOLOL! Interesting where you get those kind of prices for what you want for it..

Ksport coilovers, USED, for $500? They sold NEW for $695 on NICOclub.com
Chuki Front end, $400-500?! LOL! are you joking me?
Wheels + 5lug, $1k?! LOLOL!!! BRAND NEW hubs and spindles for 5lug only run upper $400, You dont mean to tell me those wheels + tires are a $500+ combo?
Clean BROWN interior, $250?! You amaze me, sir.
Clean doors?!, $300-$400?! Oh my lord.
Wingless trunk, $100?! Shoot me.

Please re-think your prices.

Like i said, you'll end up making more by parting it out!

You must have an amazing hook up on prices.

I've seen cars with a side full of bondo, pep boys wheels, and a fart can go for $4500... not to the '240 crowd' we have here.

5 lug hubs new are 500 for each axle. making $1000. easily the wheels could go for couple hundred.

a clean dash can go for $100 leaving $150 to be made up in seats, carpet and door panels, gauge cluster

clean doors I've seen go for $500 installed.

Honestly, you're the first to have something say about the price, so you must know something the rest of us dont.

if you're not going to buy the car (something inside me says you're just being a deuschbag), dont post in the thread ass hole.

oh my lord.
hubs/spindle is 500 for aftermarket,
its even cheaper for factory oem shit, used.
considering im sure your shit arent new,

I said. BROWN interior does not go for anywhere near $250 even in pristine condition, WHY? because noone wants it.

Clean doors INSTALLED for $500, do you know how much labor there is in installing those fkin doors? Not to mention swapping everything over?

Trust me. I am not putting up "Hook-up" prices.

Hook-up prices are FAAARRRR lower than that.

I'm not joining in the bitch-fest here, but I wanted to offer a suggestion: By the look of it you were hit in the side am I right? As long as there is no major warping as associated with more of a rear hit, why not order some wide body over fenders? That car is far from totalled. I know it will no longer be the mint condition bondo free car it was and that is a shame, but hey sometimes you gotta salvage what you got right?

Car is definately tottaled according to Progressive, and I frankly, dont want the car any more. I've found a very reasonable replacement, and with the money left over, an RB25 will definately be in the budget. I'm just the kind of person that tries to prosper from any situation.

as far as the bf, I guess its true, you cant please everyone all the time.

I understand that, but I'd just hate to see that car go to waste and get parted out or something. All it needs is either a new quarter or some overfenders. I hope it goes to a good home.
