I am planning to put together a 240 meet regularly in buford or suwanee im talkin to places to find a good spot theres one church ive been talking to but therescared to let us use it becasue of stupid people doing burnouts and stupid shit so ill keep you all posted on when im putting it together let me know if you want to help set up somthing?

You could get some 240atlanta cards and pass them around in the area to get some more people together...

I havent been over that way in a car in a while so I dont remember. I think there is an east bank as well as a west bank park. I think the west bank park is bigger though. There are alot of different parks that have big lots.

Keith bridge park has alot of parking, I think you have to pay 5 dollars to get in though. That way the police couldnt give us to much shit then as long people behave themselves. This is on the north end of the lake though.

This is a copy and paste from SEDA back in 2005 so if its wrong its not my fault haha!



ok to the $4 lot.

we'll start with I-85 south of hwy20.

1. go nrth on I-85 to the 317 suwanee exit(#111).
2. turn left off the express way.
3. your going to cross a set of rail road tracks, then your going to cross peachtree industrial, and then your goin to cross hwy20.(its like 5-7min to the rail road tracks, from there its about 3min to peachtree ind., from peachtree its like 5-7min to hwy20, and buford dam is another 5min from there.)
4. you turn left onto buford dam road(you'll crest a little hill and buford dam road is right on the other side of that.)
5. your going to go across the dam(watch the turn at the end of the dam, its 90* to the right)
6. west bank will be on your right, if you cant see the lake anymore you've gone too far.

update: you need to do the pseed limit until you hit peachtree industrial(cops are crazy throught there)

from nrth of hwy20 on I-85

1. take hwy20 westbound and turn right onto swanee dam road (there will be a mcdonalds, publix(?), and texaco(?) on the right and a whaffle house knock off on the left. its a big intersection, if you cross the river you've gone too)
2. turn left onto buford dam road
3. cross the dam and its gonna be on your right(parks called west bank), if you cant see the lake anymore you've gone to far.

from I-75(or that general area)

1. take hwy20 east towards cumming.(if your all the way over at I-75 this might take awhile)
2. as you come into cumming you'll start down a big hill and then up another, you need to be doing the speed limit through here its a speed trap.
3. a hardez will be on your left and the chicken plant on your right, when you see this you need to get in the right lane and stay there. you'll pass the police station(on your right) and you'll see the DQ(on your left). you need to turn right at this intersection(keep moving, its a one way street. dont ask)
4. your going to start up a hill as you head out of town, you'll pass a dominos and an advanced auto. you'll get to the top of the hill and the road will turn to the right and start down hill. at the bottom of the hill there is an intersection(gas station on the left). turn left onto buford damn road.
5. west bank will be on your left. your gonna go up and down some pretty wicked hills and a few really good turns.

and now for my own 4 year personal hell, i give you Ga400.

1. come up 400 to exit 14(hwy20)
2. the exit loops around so stay to the left as you get off 400.
3. turn left at the lite.
4. go to the second lite and turn left(sanders road)
5. turn right at the next lite(buford dam)
6. west bank will be on the left. same as before, there are some wicked hills and sick turns before you get to west bank.

count me in, its a drive but I'll make it out. I went to that big 240 meet about 3 years ago at the upper overlook (which is closed now) and it was a great turn out, lets try to make this one big too. I'll spread the word!

NO The meet has been relocated to rbsileightys shop same time for directions call steve cell is 678-463-5643 its located off chamblee tucker rd and 85 not far at all come out hes having a cook out and alot of people should be there come and support 240atlanta
