At about 1am, just finish dinner (long day). I see this 06 SI next to me at Club Drive. We drove all the way to the light at Old Norcross Road. He made a quick left turn so I follow (this is way back home anyways). But since there were a Camry and some old car in front of us, I was like "let's just go home." But right when I turn right into the subdivision, the two cars in front of us made a left turn, so I was like "what the hell" and followed him as he speed up. Our cornering speed are about even but I tried my best to stay within my line in the beginning so I fell back a little, but once I reach a bit of straight, he was done. I used 75% of the road and I was just right behind him. We reached the long straight and he signaled me that it is over, as either he would lose or there are car coming toward us. Either way, I flashed back at him and went home.

Lol, the only mods on my DD are a short shifter and a gutted airbox...

Seriously man, fun run, but stupid is stupid, we've all done it, just some of us get old enough to stop trying to justify our stupidity, and just roll with it.

My definition of a ricer is anyone that tries to race everything on 4 wheels.
And hell, by that definition, Duke is the biggest ricer, but I still love him, no homo.

But really, its just the mentality that really makes someone a ricer, that whole "Racing is a way of life" or "I gotta play tag with every import I see speeding" or shit like that. I used to do that shit all the time, I'd try and run any car I could get to play, but then again, I did that for the first 6 months I had a drivers license...in a stock EG, and a stock S14. I suppose I just chuckle at half the kids that try and race me all the time. Its rare I ride down 85 to Atlanta, without some kid in a Civic/Eclipse/s-chassis that tries to play. Sure, sometimes I take the bait, but mostly I just laugh and keep rolling the speed limit.


And I have a Type-S RSX, its basically the same as a new SI. Not that fast.

All shit aside, if you are going to run something, and then post about a "kill" or "good story" atleast be up against something with some real heat, ya know? Fuck ,atleast a Corvette, or something.

As my buddy with a 5xxwhp FC, whos built countless drag cars and shit, put it to me the other day "Man, I like some of these imports, and I understand exactly why you like a 240, but damn, you kids keep fucking with slow shit and bragging about it."

It's not like I am not getting what you are saying, but I never started a "race." I mean to some degree, you need at least 2 people to start a race, so yeah, I did it. But I never go ahead and ask "hey, you want to race?" And most kid drive pass me will never want to race me anyways, as I do look bone stock from the back with a stock exhaust. About 99% of the time in my driving history, I do not race, and I will never start a race because I know it is stupid. But sometimes the kid side of me just kickin.

Maybe I disagree you call me a ricer since you did so base on one thread I post. I believe you cannot be a rice one night and then switch back to a complete normal person the next day.

I post this thread because this is the second time SI has picked on me. That's all. Not being proud of getting a Civic or anything. I know SR'ed car's level is at least the WRX level, and the only car I ever race that is anything close was a G35, which to me was really slow (also notice my car is just making about 180 on a dynojet).
