well it was a sunny day after school and im cruisn down 78 towards stone mountain when, in my rear view, i see this baller car flying up the road. it was silver, slamed to the ground, n had to be one of the cleanist nsx i have ever seen (which isnt many :goodjob:). anyways i drop 4th and punch it. we start to even out then i pulled on him. then again. so we lined them up and we are off for real. 3rd 4th 5th we go screaming down the highway. i glance at the speedo n it reads an inch past 120mph :eeek:! what a rush. at any rate i got him by about 2-3 cars. hard to till sometimes when youre out in front :cheers: anyways if that guy reads this i just want you to know that i loved your car n it was clean as hell :p

350 whp and 350 tourqe at 12psi with a sliping clutch (its stock). after i fix that (stage 3 comptech and light weight flywheel) it should be something like 400whp.

You can make 350 rwhp relatively cheap if you know what you need, and don't pay retail, and do your own labor... I would say I'll have a 350rwhp capable setup, parts cost ~ 1,200... and $300 of that is the Calum / or EMance... The parts aren't that expensive.

However, the parts he listed are expensive... and why would you spend all that fucking money, and have a stock clutch?

More money than sense? AEM Standalone, GT30, BUILT MOTOR... oh, stock clutch...

The NSX only makes 290 (estimated 240ish whp) at the crank...

If he is making ~350whp the NSX would have to be modded and weight reduced to win.

Catback would be good.
FMIC kit

Motor:
Tapped pan
T-Oil line splitter
Oil Filter sandwich plate thing
.063 Oil restrictor
Oil lines
Coolant Lines
Oil cooler (not a bad idea)

Misc:
Gauges
Gaskets
CLUTCH
Anything else I'm forgetting...

I have a build thread on KA-T... my parts are capable of 350rwhp... and I spend ~$700, not counting Fuel Management (the ECU.) I still need a custom down-pipe though... because I'm not using a T25.

NSX make at least 240HP to wheel i'm sure. I've tested covertte , new mustang 5.0 , Camerro SS , g35..... . The fastest car i ever drove is the NSX. The NSX is slower than Covertte 6 speed but somehow i got the feeling it faster. Remember NSX VTEC the readline at 8000 RPM there is no way your 350HP 240sx will pull it on Highway even with Good clutch. Horse power is count but gears ratio is important as well. That why NSX got 210 Ft torque but it fast.

Gearing from 70-120 is irrelevant... You're in 5th gear in the KA-T... and you're in the sweet spot.

NSX could win a top speed challenge, but that's it.

You are assuming as well that the NSX was bone ass stock. Those things could see as much as a 15-20whp increase from just a CAI...

ok lets say he has a stage 4 unsprung...if hes in a straight line (and can drive worth half a damn), he may have a chance..I have personally seen nsx's drive on the road, and on road atlanta. it would take one hell of a 240 to beat an nsx in any sort of drivers race.
Nsx's are not made to go fast straight, they are made to go fast, always... remember that when racing a SUPERCAR..and yes there is a honda that classifies as a supercar

i say race the nsx on a road course with some sharp corners and see who wins. nsx is overated power wise but handle like a dream. they have great power dont get me wrong but if im gunna pay that much for a car i think it should have a little more power than what it comes with.

I ran stock clutch for a while until it went completely. I was @9 psi on stock internals though, with a .50 trim T3/T04 and every derestricted thing to go with that. So I guess I was making between 240-255 tq around then? now I have no idea lol. But the stock clutch never slipped once! not even in 1st or 2nd!

now I have a RPS stage 3 clutch. And it pwns slippage, only downside is that my left calf muscle is twice as big as my right hahaa

The nsx loose because he can't drive. The 240SX Guy changing gears while NSX stilling going Reline 8000 rpm . For 290 Hp Vtec is not much. Those people who never test drive one. Maybe went to your local dealer and test drive. Who know they might let you try they 80k car if they got one i hope.
