I was at the V. Met a few new people and passed out a good number of cards... The V is actually supporting the meets now as long as you buy food. They had a bunch of cops walking around the lot so there were no burnouts!!! It was great! They had notes on the Varsity doors saying that they support the meets. There was even a news team out there filming for a story.

Burnout contests are cool in a controled environment or with a few friends on a back road or something but not at a huge public meet where theres children in front of the cars and stuff like that. I think cops are smart enough to realize that if someone from the meet is calling them to come and stop people from doing burnouts that not everyone is there to do burnouts. The cops did come but just asked the people doing burnouts to leave and when the cops left they started up again.

They can't stop people from meeting there since it is private property. What do think cops are there for? I've been going to these meets since long before anyone did burnouts and stupid shit. I'm not going to stop going to a meet that I've been going to for years just so some stupid kids can do burnouts.

The time that we (not me personally but I supported them 110%) called the cops, there was a girl with her infant child down there right by where they were doing the burnouts. Now I agree that this lady should NOT have been there and it was stupid as hell for her to bring a child to something like this and even more stupid to stand by it but the cops coming out and stopping it could have saved this childs life. Who knows.

We knew they wouldn't arrest anyone since its private property and they cant press charges without contacting the owner of the property.
