theres a good amount of peeps who have sr20s that pass. most of the time where the cat is, a test pipe is set in place for performance so at test time the cat gets bolted back up then taken back out after the test :)

welll

techniqally they are illegal to drive on public roads

but there is no enforcment and no way to get in trouble, and of course there are a hundred ways to pass emissions with it

I will be daily driving an sr in about 2 months. I'm not sure what im goin to do about emissions, but I think it will be worth the effort of figuring it out. Sr is a daily driver in other countries, so why would it be different here?

We've daily driven a bunch of SR's.. No different then any other car. Now DD'ing a 400HP SR would be a tad different. Just for reliabilities sake.

Haha.. We couldn't find a house in time after leaving the apartment. Now we are at her parents house until we find one.

I'm looking for a foreclosure or something of that nature to invest in.

im sure you can find one. you do real estate. My moms trying to become an agent. Shes still taking tests.

I know I can find one. Thats not the problem. Its finding a deal, on a house that I would like, in my price range, in the area I want.

I know your mom is trying to become an Agent. I talked to her for nearly an hour about it when they came to get your car.

haha real estate is where the REAL money is at atl has a high number of foreclosures it shouldnt be hard to find a house.

hellfire
06-08-2007, 12:20 AM
Yep. But the Real Estate market is very low right now. My grandmother who normally pulls 60k a month, hasn't had a sale in a month now.

I'm not even actually looking right this second. Just get everything sorted financially, have to pay 3k to the apartments and stuff.

i used to daily drive my 300+ rwhp SR, wasn't anything majorly illegal with it. i suppose it could still be driven daily if you were brave, but i'm not a big fan of no interior/straight pipe/full cage/bucket seat/no AC/uncomfortable suspension on a daily basis with atlanta traffic :).

yeah the real estate market sucks right now. Which affects my job as an electrician.

Tyler, I knew you'd have to pay a shitload to them, I mean honestly who builds a motor in their dining room?

anyhoo, I drive a stock SR as a daily, but I also live in Jackson county. in stock form they are only a little better than a KA, but there's a hell of a lot more easily tapped potential. I just haven't had the time or money to do much to mine, but it has been extremely reliable. I just dread if Jackson ever gets emissions because my car is a 96 (obd2) and has an SR with a punched out cat.

carlova78
06-08-2007, 01:53 AM
yea i bet stock sr is 100x better than a ka. gotz boost

Tyler, I knew you'd have to pay a shitload to them, I mean honestly who builds a motor in their dining room?

Haha.. I really didn't build the motor in the living room. I just brought it up there becuase there was no more room in the garage, it was cold, and I wanted to keep in safe instead of in the garage where people could break in.

The only interior repair I have to pay for is carpet and blinds. Both of which were caused by the damn dogs. So.. It didn't effect anything.

lol I saw all the engine parts when I was there. haha

hellfire
06-08-2007, 05:18 AM
;)

It was much safer then in the garage, I had stuff jacked from in there multiple times. Z32 Brakes, Joe Rocket Jacket, plus more. I didn't need to leave a 5k motorset in there.
