so we just got new rotors on the car and everything but the problem is the emergency brake. i can pull it up full real fast and it still doesnt lock up...turns out it barely helps keep the car still..

i know this is probably a noob thing to ask but i just want to make sure.

how do you tighten the ebrake ?

under the e brake boot theres a nut. tighten teh nut

look on the ebrake handles theres a hole on the bottom, then just tighten the nut inside with a ten mm

make sure ur brake line is good too

make sure you tighten the bolts evenly when adjusting the cable.
also, check to make sure that the cable is properly hooked up on the calipers. it might just be one side thats hooked on there. that could be why its not holding.

then if u realllly want it to lock up. get a pair or project mu d1 spec pads. my ancient chinese secret :superman:
