They are pretty rare. But not too hard to come by. FJ20 is hard to come by. Im kinda split between them. I want a fj20 but replacement parts would be have to be sourced from over sea's. And even over seas it might be tough to find parts such as water pumps etc as its and old motor. S15 sr is cool because it is easy to find parts for, can make 300whp with a boost controler, HLSD and 6speed trans that coast on the highway at 90mph @3200 rpm thus getting 430-450miles on one tank.

Yeah, My last s15sr 240 put down 289whp/291tq @ 18lbs (stock minus boost controller)

Its a damn good engine, but its old. 2 liter iron block 4cyl + high flowing magnesium head built by cosworth. They can put out a shit ton of hp. I belive its still the highest hp 4cyl in australia. If I could get parts for it easy, I'd pick it over the s15 any day of the week. But I think it might be a smart choice to just go with the sr again so I dont have 1year down time once something takes a crap on the fj lol.

Sup man. Lifes kind of shitty sober but I guess Im more productive. The Heat shields are coming in on the 18th. Im also sending the guage pod drawings/cadfiles to the supplier tomorrow night, and see if he can produce them before the 18th so both things can be sent in one package.

You might as well just pay for a brake upgrade for a 240. Endless, etc. 2k for a Z06 brake kit.

Nobody will buy them.

What would be better though is brackets for the EVO and STI Brembo's.

Yeah, I have some brake brackets being made right now that let you use the big brakes off the 350z/g35. But later down the road I'll probably make something bigger. But Im gonna post a thread in a couple of weeks, stating any ideas you guys have of parts to be made, if we decide to make your part, then we will give you the part/parts free when produced.

I would pick up EVO adaptors.

You can find full setups from owners cheaper then this, but this is just an idea. Its a better alternative to 300ZX Brakes for just a little more.

Yeah those or the specV ones. On a 13" rotor. How much is an actual brembo kit for 240? like 2gs? It would probably cost me about 1000-1200 for all the calipers, lines, rotors, brackets, pads etc. Sell them for 1200-1400. Not sure what the demand on something that expensive would be, but it would be brembo's all around rather then just the front.
