One fan not working can definatly lead to overheating in traffic
but of course it could be something else, but fix the fan and bleed the system

yeah. my fans used to malfunction a lot and would make the car run hot. I rewired everything and it's fine now.

Yeah get the fans to work first. Then bleed the cooling system. If it is still over heating then check the thermostat or clearing out the rad. with some coke. MAKE SURE you get it all out tho. If you want to do this PM me and i will give you directions.
There are other things but those are the easyest to check

Hey man.
Could be a lot of things.
Thermostat like said.
Air in the coolant like said.
Blown HG.
Lack of good airflow becuase of FMIC.
Shitty fans.
I have a spare set of Dual Flexalites you try if you want to see if thats the problem. Only thing is you would have to order a set of those radiator fan clips, or just ghetto it and use zip ties.
If you need any help just let me know.

THE DREADED BHG!!!!!!!!! Lets hope that that isnt the problem. But id dosnt seem like he is having symptoms of BHG. Like bogging or smoke or misfire blah blah. But if you keep running it hot then you will have a blown HG or crack the head or block

Does it heat up when you are driving down the road? ->Thermostat or clogged radiator.
Does it heat up when you are sitting still? ->Fans or too small of a radiator.
Oil in water or vice versa? -> BHG
