Canadian motors are shit, ragged out, blown up, pos motors, and you cant do anything about it because they are out of the country.

so where are all of the decent motors coming from? I'm pretty sure everyone of those vendors doesnt import containers from japan. my advice? get more than one one review b4 making your decision.

It doesnt matter where the U.S. vendors get their motors from. They are an American company and are liable for their quality. So in the end they usually only bring in top notch motors.
You go and order a motor from a pure Canadian company and see what arrives. They are known for having shitty quality because there are no laws you can enforce to ensure you get what you paid for.

I dont know about the rest of the list, but I can tell you 100% that JHot gets all of their stuff from their own yard in Japan. Fukuoka, to be exact.
There are people with good experiences as well. PM S14Unimog and ask him what company he got his sr from. It was a Canadian company. The CAS needed to be replaced so he called them to let them know, they told him to send it back and they sent him a new one, and they paid for shipping both ways.
Overall he had a good experience with a Canadian company. Good customer service, cheap price, and over a year later and after lots of hard driving, the motor is still running great.
You'll hear all kinds of different stories. Read all of their policies closely before you make a purchase. Bad SR20s can come from anywhere. It's all about who will take care of you if there's a problem.
