It doesn't unless you let off the gas for a second.

TylerI dont think he means switch backs.

I will give it a shot.

Its called caster steer. the front wheels on a car are naturally going to point striate when you let go of the wheel in the middle of a turn so if your car is sideways the wheels will point in the direction that has the lest amount of resistance.

Caster steer? So it will always turn (by itself) in the direction of the slide? Is this action the car trying to straighten itself out? thanks guys

yes indeed. s13's have a fair amount of caster dialup stock, hence why they tend to make better entry level drift cars ^_^

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caster_angle

Adjustable T/C rods allow you to adjust caster By pushing the wheel forward or back relative to the steering axis.

thanks guys. I usually catch the wheel when i'm in the line that i want and i adjust from there. is that what you guys do?

i really couldnt tell u what i do.. but it works.. i dont remember what i didnt by the end of the run. i think the only thing i remember trying to change was letting off the gas a little more during transitions to slow them down and make them more predictable.. but other then that i just do it..
