this might be the route im going.. but its only a small chance.. i want an SR for reliability... and a motor like this might not be so reliable

a motor is just as reliable as what you do to it...
if you build an sr
its gonna piss all over itself just like a build ka would
if you roll a stock Ka ... with low wear... its gonna be reliable
if you roll a stock sr with low wear... its gonna be reliable
even if you put a tiny turbo on the ka its still gonna be reliable

i can go to autozone or the dealer and buy a gasket. tensioner. water pump. whatever part i need here... in a store... less than 20 minutes after it breaks... thats reliability.

if you're going to do all that for the motor,
at least get good engine management.

looks like we're almost on the same path, however.

I have all my parts for my rebuild, but i dont have money for machining.

i have eprom burner, spare ecu, db, lm1 wb02, ams sportsman kit, studs and shit, but no money for machining process..

how sad is that? lol
not to mention both my cars arent even completely in any sort of way! :(
