whats up guys, ok ive had my sr for almos 6 months and i will probably get some cash in the summer so i wanna know what could i do next to get some more horses, haha... this is the list of what i have, u tell me what can i get to gain more, i wanna be arround 250 +
S13 sr redtop
fminc
maxima MAF
SAFC II
down pipe
full cat back
Greddy type rs BOV
stock turbo
stock injectors
what can i change before upgrading to a new turbo
if u dont have something serious to say then please keep it

Boost controller.
Turn up boost to 12psi. Probably could go higher, but not worth the risk due to high IDC's on your stock injectors.

While those are good idea's, they won't add any power. More fun to drive yes.

Huh? He's looking to add more power to his car. More fun on the ass dyno. LSD or Coilovers will not make the car any faster in a straight line.

well, when i wen t to tunning my friend that did it said that he fixed the air fuel and he set up the safc, supposely he said im at 12 psi right now with what he did... and i do think so cus i was at 198hp before tunning and i ended up at 220hp after tunning, he said he could try higher but that it wasnt safe bc of the size of injectors
some people say ot get a z32 maf + injectors, whachu think?

Well if you have no boost controller, so are not at 12psi. You are still at stock boost.
What he probably did was lean out your a/f, so that gave you more power.

And I don't really care if you "asked" for a response or not. You got one, and it really wasn't even a response to you, just saying that he isn't going to get any closer to his goal with the parts you suggested.
He is a big boy, he can decide which he wants. He didn't make a thread on handling, he made one on power.
Good try though. And I find it funny that the person :lmfao: at me because I supposedly have it "all under control" is the same person who didn't know where vacuum lines went. I'll leave it at that.

First and most important mod before you try to go any further I would say, Is to replace the headgasket with a MLS (cometic, apexi etc). The if your content with the turbo size. Go for cams and valve train. Then you would be inline for the next upgrade wich would be fuel and larger turbo.

Yep, cams would be good. But make sure you get cams that are going to be suitable to your final power goals. Becuase it would suck to have to buy another set later down the road.
I'm pretty sure you can make ~300hp on a stock turbo with the right mods.

ive heard that u can only go to 260ish + with stock turbo before it starts smoking, am i wrong?

Well smoking would have nothing to do with a certain power level. That would just be when either the oil seals went out, or something like that.
I don't have time right now but I will find the dyno chart later for a stock SR @ 14psi or something. I don't remember if it was a T25 or T28 though.

also i would go with injectors then you could boost but stock turbocould only boost so much. my first 240 was done at xat racing and they set it up to boost 15lbs. on stock turbo and injectors, with cams, and my car dynoed at 263

yeh..
safc on sr can controll upto 740.
you can actually control more by leaning out using the in-out settings, but its not recommended.

well if the dude doing your tuning said he had to stop because of your injectors I would say upgrade those next. I dont know how big injectors your SAFC can control so look into that before upgrading (i think you can only do + or - 20% or something like that) or ditch the safc and get a standalone. stock t25 max at 250 and even then they cant hold boost up at higher rpms.
My vote is for injectors, turbo, and Fuel pressure regulator).
oh. you didnt say anything about a fuel pump in your original post so if you dont have one, get one of those as well.
hey, where can i find one? are those cheap? how about installation? and what is their purpose exactly?

Your upper oil pan you mean? Yes I can fix that for you, but its a pain. You have to either drop the crossmember, or pull the motor out of the car slighty.

all that should give you a good bit of power
but as stated before
when you boost to 12psi
you wont gain as much topend power as you will lowend power *from 3k - 5k*
because the small turbo can only presurize a certian amount of air *cfm* and cfm is directly related to horsepower
so you wont like loose power at high rpm but you wont be gaining as much.
still way worth it tho.
a gt28 could boost you way up in the hp numbers
