M3 vs. 240

so around 8 earlier today im goin north on 85 and this red m3 pulls up next to me a starts reving, so i look over and see 2 girls looking at me and i start smiling downshift and she takes off and beats me by like idk but atleast 7 to 10 cars. im only on 7lbs. of boost by the way so i catch up and realize she has paper tag and irealize its prolly a rich girl in her new graduation present. so i ask if its stick shift and she says yes so i wuz like damn u smoked me,one more time (as i turn the boost up to 16-17lbs) so she says okay i hear her downshift we take off and i pulled off by maybe 5 or 6 cars and realized i had to be goin atleast 130+ and slammed on the brakes and when she caught up i yelled wut happened!!!. i wish u could of seen the look on her face. i love my car:yes:

t28, cams, basically it. one of my bestfriends in miami has an m3 with exhaust and comp. work and my old 240 with sr20 on 15lbs. used to be side by side till i went to 5th. but if u think about it they have 333hp to the flywheel if im correct so take away 33 hp to the wheels and add all that weight and they arent all that fast.

but at the same time, they're not all that slow.. a guy at my school (just graduated) has an e46 M3 with exhaust, and comp, he outran my friend in his evo.. somehow??? it was a 10mile roll -- something, but the evo wasnt pulling boost at all, and it was completely stock, except an air filter

Personally, I think the newer BMW's look like shit. Mostly the 6 series though. I Still don't like the 5 series that much, but the 3 looks nice and I love the engine in the M3. They still need to work on thw wieght though. Not to mention the Z3 looks a thousand times better than the Z4.

No offense to you, but I think that is a really ugly Z3. The front makes it look like it has an overly-large chin, and the side skirts a a bit too much also. But that's the thing with BMW. You either love it or you hate it.

I personally hate how the shoe boxes look...

The M-Roadsters are amazing cars for auto x and corner, something with Z4s, but they dont really do anything to impressive with accl. and power.

An example, when I was stock I was driving like an ass cas I was late to work and was trying to make a light. A older guy in a Z3 in a business suit and all raced me at a stop like. The Spec V kept the Z3 to 60, we had to let off since there was traffic. The other thing was that was about 1 month after bought my car and really didnt know how to launch the car correctly or shift really fast.

Yes I would so buy a BMW over my car any day. I have never really driven a highly modded 240 or any other car for that matter to compare it to. Bang for the buck though most def goes to the 240 though.
