picked up a jl audio 10 w6 from him today, traded my xbox 360 for it, im VERY VERY IMPRESSED. hooked it up in my friends accord, it is louder than his 2 12's!! i love this thing its soo clean. overall thomas is a really nice guy, really worked with me on getting the amp and sub from him, A+ seller/buyer. oh btw he has the nastiest saab i have ever seen.:goodjob::goodjob:

oh btw, jl defifnatly under estimates there subs, we are giving it atleast 600w in that accord. i personally think it feels like 900 but my idk. its louder than his 2 12's. that thing makes the entire car flex on some weezy songs. like EVERYTHING flex. lol i love this damn thing!!

yeah i hear ya, i just love jl. i know someone with 2 13.5 w7's. they are the loudest things i have ever herd. and my friend has a 12 w6 with a jl 500v1 amp, has had it for 3 years, never a single problem. everyone else i know, there voicecoils blow or there subs crack ect.

i used to love jl components until i found rainbow components. yes, w7s are great, but for about half the price you could have a louder set up, with the same amount of sound quality.

would they last as long? im not doubting anything ur naming man, im sure there GREAT, i just know jl and love em. like i just respect them because they are hand man, thats one reason why the voicecoils will NOt fry, you can over power them and blow them, but thats a waiste of 500-1500$ down the drain. yeah there really expensive for subs, but imo they are great subs.

no doubt the quality is great. hell if i had money to blow i'd have nothing but a jl set up in my daily driven car, but i dont have that type of money haha.

rainbow or w/e you were suggesting, yeah i hear ya with the money, they are expensive as shit, no doubt about it, too expensive. but with jl audio you get what you pay for, hand made subs n speakers and amps that will last forever, my friends got 1 12 w6 in a volvo s40 i5T and hes got a jl 500v1, and 5 point surround sound jl audio speakers and tweeters. its the best system ive herd cause its not all bass. the speakers even it out alot.

haha, there are plety of companies that 'hand make' their stuff. too many to list. but rainbow speakers are great! check out some past issues of 'car audio' they have been top ranked
