RHD is freakin' sweet though, but it takes mucho work to get it done (right). i'd just try and by a silvia body. they're around, just keep your eyes open

I told him to talk to you steve. He asked if i could do it, and just said.. "Talk to Steve" LoL..

But really man, like I said to you earlier, just get your car running first. A motor only takes an hour or so to pull back out. If you feel like you cannot live without RHD after you have your car running for a while, then do it. But I would just drive the damn thing. Drive bitch, drive..

I don't see why people say doing such and such *this instance RHD* is a waste of time. If someone wants to do something to there car, that is there choice. If they want to put non functional hood scoops, green wheels and an 8 foot spoiler hanging from their grill then so be it.

The RHD conversion is a lot of work but ti can be done and if you need spare parts I have plenty.

Checkers has 2 drive throughs, one for the passenger to pick up the food and shit, and one like a normal drive through.

Btw, those new melts are fiaaahhh

But in this particular instance, I don't think he has the money for it all rigth now. So he would have to wait LONGER do the RHD conversion, then get the RB in there. Or he could just get the RB in there, and enjoy his car.

It is all definetly up to the owners choice.

well it does boil down to how long he can wait and such. if it is his only car then get it running he will have more fun that way. to each their own.

I am alomst finisehd with my conversiona nd hope to have it running by the end of the motnh.

awesome. ballllin.

umm, i think some peolpe enjoy the anticipation of a finished product. they like to work on stuff.

i personally dont, and i could care less for pics of my car since the build. ALL OF THEM. not to say i dont document stuff, the fact is i dont care. if i could , i would just go to the showr room and tell them what i want swapped and take it out to drive. but in a way, i hav learned to appreciated my toys more then a person who can afford i, which make my life richer then theirs....
so that being said, rock on with you cock on.

hope to see some work being done. i need to get mine finished too but i am so lazy. cold be running tomorrow if i really wanted it too. :(

RHD's are not worth the time and trouble, I have done 4, none have been worth the headache, or money. If you have a clip, everything is easier, but still a bitch. The easiest part was cutting out the USDM spec firewall, cutting out the JDM firewall, both entire firewalls, not just spots. The welding the new one in. then you have to make the brackets and pedals fit, then the worst part is the wiring. To do it right, a lot of man hours, for 2 people. Do it the easy way, go through the outher side of the dirve through at Checkers, or buy a silvia, it's eaiser to swap a vin. RHD was cool a long time ago.

its not hard. i think what mr. high and mighty ^boink^boink^ meant was that its time consuming and not worth the time vs benefit. if you think you are satisfied with rhd and happy with it, then the job is valued at your level of appreciation. he probably doesnt because its pointless to have a street rhd just to look different.

personally, if i wanted rhd, i would just go home and drive or get a jdm car. but i wouldnt drive one on the street. its pointless to me also. people that go through it, i would just sigh. its like me going home, and see some nitwit trying to do a left hand drive conversion by himself....i would be like , duh.. i have better things to do. but the appreciation level and satisfaction when is done is what drives you.

good luck on your endevour, the journey has come, and we cant wait to see you drive it.
