so my water pump belt was making that anoying noise we all hate, this sat i super tight it + i also saw the PS belt was kinda loose too so i did that one too.... my point is: when i came to work today the freaking noise wouldnt stop it would do it from time to time so idk what could it be cuz i checked them when i got to work but both are tight and i cant hear from which belt the noise is comming, could it be the belt? cuz they are both brand new

allignment of pulleys may be a little off, ckeck to see if there is something/thrash on the pulley teeths, check your underwear, check to see if there are any oil leaks around your valve cover or power steering. they tend to drip on the belts or pulleys.

what belt did you put in there? proper rib, and should be ribbed actually. nvm. change your underwear too. good luck.

if you make em too tight, it;ll make noises as well.

tighten it per oem instructions/torque specs.

school all weekdays + work all wkdays = suffering.

only five weeks of this and im out of school for summer again!
