s14 sr power steering questions

i have a 95 s14 with a redtop sr in it...


i couldn't get the powersteering to work because when i swapped around the hookups the hookup going into the pump itself wasn't working and started stripping

so my question is will i destroy any other parts of the steering equipment up without the pump attached?

If you run the rack dry for a long time it will most likely leak after you get your power steering working again. You will have to replace the inner tie rod seals.

Why don't you just use the KA pump?

cus i was retarted and sold it with my ka to a kid for $300


now i'm regretting it like crazy

but what i was planning was that the "bolt" that holds the hook-up to the high pressure hse fit into the sr hookup so i figured i'd use the sr pump and then i went to put the pump "bolt" in and it started pulling metal...

i might just try to re-tap it and get it in the and if that doesn't work jb weld
