ok i was woundering if any body could help me out here i found some skunk2 lowering springs and it said lowering springs are designed to be used with aftermarket sport shock absorbers. Minor modifications or camber kits may be required what does this mean i know what the camber plates are my main question is can i use my stock strut asembly or how hard is this to do
thanks kenny

Simple answer, They suck. If you want to get lowering springs go with Eibach pro's. Pair them with some KYB AGX adjustable shock/struts.
This is what the drop looks like on an s14.

You don't necessarily need after market shocks, but your stockers will blow.
And yes, Skunk2 springs for 240's suck.

oh and btw assassain your sidewalls are fuckin huge, thats another factor as to why it "looks so low"

My sidewalls are 55, Stock tire size. I wont run anything lower then 45's.
I hate skunk 2 due to how they rode on my brothers lude and a friends S13. I hate megan cause they felt like ass. It felt like I had different spring rates on each wheel. VERY unstable.

I think everyone pretty much has you covered. But..
Lowering springs are a lower drop obviously then the stock springs. So stock Shocks are not made to ride at that height. They will blow after a while with lowering springs. So then you will need aftermarket shocks. KYB, Koni, Etc.
Then if you go really low, you'll need RUCA's, to correct the - Camber.
