i just got some lowering springs with strut and need help installing dem if u live in woodstock or acworth or kennesaw and dnt mind helping pm me
thanks
Are they already put together?
If so.
Raise car.
Remove wheels.
For front, get a 17mm and a 19mm wrench, remove the 2 bolts that are on the spindle, unclip the brake line from the strut, then take a 14mm socket, and remove the top three bolts, remove strut/spring, and reverse to assemble.
For the rear, Get a 17mm or 19mm, cant remember of the top of my head, take loose the bolt on the back of the upright, knock strut off of the stud. Open hatch, remove the two little covers, take a 12mm wrench, and remove the 2 12mm bolts on each strut tower, pull out strut. Reverse to assemble.

I have way too many things going on right now, not to mention, I live any hour away.
But really, if you're mechanically inclined, you'll see what to do, shouldnt take more than about 30-45 minutes to do the whole car.

i just got some springs too. you make it sound like i can do this without a spring compressor. is that true?

Depends on the springs.
I was able to put my Skunk2's on without a compressor.
But some springs you gotta have one.
But then I've put some on other cars, and had to compress them.
Id reccomend having one to take the stockers off personally. Seeing as I've nearly killed buddies when I broke a set loose and the top nut shot off, ha.

thanks for the info. when i get around to doing mine i'll just give my local advance auto a call and borrow their's.
All jokes aside, a 240 is one of the easiest cars to lower ever, IMO.
Rears especially.
But really, just look at it all, and its pretty self explanatory, there's also a full write up on Nico somewhere, IIRC.
