Ok so I decided to go ahead and buy a cheep ebay catback for my s13, because I have heard nothing bad about them really. I'm happy with the performance, sound, looks etc. But ofcorse there has to be a reason it was so cheep. The piping touches the differential housing, so I have myself a rattle. I'm probably just goin to see if I can adjust the hanger somehow, but I first wanted to see if anyone had a better idea, or some input on a good way to adjust it.

If you can't duck it... well you know.
I wrapped some exhaust wrap around it, and that didn't help. Duct tape would be so damn ugly, I'd rather have a rattling exhaust.

if people can see that part of your exhaust... call a tow truck...

Haha. You can pretty easily see it if you are driving behind me with my 4X4 lookin stock ride height. Well I guess I'm goin to have to get coilover to solve this problem.

kill whoever installed it......
if that was you then im sorry, you know what you have to do. theres no other way.
If you can't bend the hanger, you could wrap it with exhaust tape, its the insulated thick stuff. It would keep it from making noise...

you can adjust the rubber mounts with some worm clamp action.
always helps 'tighten' up the rattling.
i did that, it touched the diff, didnt go anywhere else.
worked like a charm until i bent my exhaust @ the axle back and someone stole my car,.
