My current project is a '90 240SX h/b, similar to my flatblack one for sale only that it doesn't run good...Or at all now. I'm yanking the SOHC for a CA18 soon and my interior is non existent minus the dash but I am taking it out hopefully tomorrow to rid myself of the engine harness/ect...What hoses/wires and needed and not needed and what are some good tricks and tips for hiding all of the crap. Thanks

I'm sure you could get rid of like half the vac lines ... but I dunno which ones.
Theres got to be an article on deleting vacuum hoses somewhere...

The only ones you NEED are for the brake booster. Everything else is trash. You can yank out the charcoal canister and everything that goes with it.
On your CA you will have one for the wastegate and one for the BOV, thats it.

dont you need stuff for iacv?

Well that is going to be on his motor. The IACV just uses stuff from your motor. Its in no way connected to other sources.
And really you don't even need a IACV. Just let your car warm up before you drive and adjust your idle with the screw on the throttle body. That is how Carina's built motor will be.

Yeah, but he said he is getting a CA. The vacuum hose to the FPR comes from the throttle body and goes to the FPR, which is on the fuel rail. That will be on the new motor. It has nothing to do with the current jumblefuck of hoses and wires he is talking about.

There are tons of writeups online for CA swaps. Just find a wiring diagram.
But as for tips, make sure you solder everything. No clamps.
