Best place for SR20

I'm doing the swap but where is the best (cheapest too:( ) place to get everything for an SR20 swap, I have a koyo/oil pan/ect, just need motor/tranny/ecu/blah blah. If you want you can pm. thanks.

you get what you pay for! jarco is a lil more pricey but you get the best, with a warranty. i know thats theres a few other local importes but i cant remember their names..

i got quoted a price for a front clip from NAD auto..
a red top was $2600-2800
and a blacktop front clip was $3700

a friend of mine ordered a s14 front clip from jarco, and he paid $3500

so when i get ready to buy one, my first place to look is jarco and they are in canton ga

no thats me mines in customs and i got a s14 front clip and i paid 3500 with 52000 miles on it. that are real miles and they show you a video of the car before you buy it and they are good but pricey but i just decided to pay the money for a good motor. its just taking along time.

nad auto is shity. they want too much money for shit. he qouted me 3400 for and s13 blacktop engine set not even a from clip and he tryed to tell me it had around 30000 but didnt have a gage cluster.

Jhot gets motors all the time. Last time i checked you could get a black top+tranny+wiring+ecu for 1800. Some times they come with side mount and down pipe. All depends. Just give them a call or go there and you can order one. And last i heard they are not dealing with red tops only black. Y they gotta be so raciest

s14 and s15 sr20 swaps are def. moer difficult.. hence not as many people have an s14/s15 sr20..

but, if your doing the sr swap yourself i highly, highly suggest you get a front clip !!!!!!

it wont be missing as much stuff as just a motorset..

probably jarco for a clip.. their price on the internet is $2595 for a s13 red top, but if j-hot is selling complete black top sr20s for $1800, i would def. jump all over that deal.. you would save about $800 instead of buying a clip, just put that money into a FMIC, and whatever else you need

s13 blacktop with ecm, uncut harness, factory side mount and piping, igniter... everything but MAF was $1990 shipped. Took three days to get here by Yellow Freight. I've bought four engines from them and always got VERY clean good running engines. Up until now I always got some neat stuff to, like tuned ECMs or bovs.

BTW, I have some SOHC mafs I'm trying to sell. Used as an upgrade over the factory sr. $25 and its yours. Here's my last engine from them.

Yeah, it is not an upgrade. The voltage is slightly off between the two, but close enough to work properly.

And, what else should people call the tail lights? 180SX lights?

Ahh, you are right. I didn't say out the entire name. But it was become well known as kouki tails on S13's. You know that.

If you really want me to go into great detail on WHY they call them "kouki" tails I will.

Zenki, means earlier.
Kouki means later.

So.. Type X 180's were produced when? Like '96-98 right? Well S13's were obviously produced way before then. So.. they are the "later" style of S13 taillights. Kouki Tails.

Go read up on it. There are 17033 threads regarding this exact topic over the internet. There are even about 10 writeups, that will list out exactly what you need. Search. Don't expect to have everything handed to you.
