If you have to ask, you shouldn't be building a cage.

there is truth to that statement
you just can drop bars in a car and call it a cage
its gotta be built a certain way

Truth!
Leave it to the pros.... and if you really want to do cages. Learn from the pros.
A badly designed cage is more dangerous than no cage.

truth dont get all butt hurt. we understand where your coming from. hey we dont know anythign maybe your dad is soe old school drag builder for all we know. but asking for a layout does make you come off as a novice. search the internet for cage builds and guides. People are right though a cage is not something you want to do as your first fabrication prject.
Hope you understand what your taking on.

Most S13 Cages have the same basic layout.
Here are a couple examples.

that one is the good one.
there are books about building real deal race cars.

also you have to make sure you follow the rules for whatever club you're going to race with.

Did you hit yourself in the head with the tubing already? :screwy:
Like Patrick said, make sure you follow the right rules and regulations when building a cage. DOM, the right inner and outer diameter, only a certain amount of bends, etc., etc. ,etc.
