SR20, about 300whp and thats pushing it to just about the compressors efficiency range
ka24, its gonna make shitty top end but hella mid range

our last t28 sr20 we did 317 whp 299 tq stock motor, pump gas and 256 cams, safc, 550cc.

there are alot of t28 turbos. the s14 sr20det comes with a ball bearing t28 that is good for about 280-300whp and the s15 t28 is good for 330whp. then there are gt28 series garrett turbos that are good for 350 and up.

anyways he has an sr with 3in full exhaust.

it depends on how much boost you want to run and if the turbo can produce power at the boost level.
