so i spent practicly the whole day messing with the starion... i attempted to easy out 3 of the 4 broken out studs in the head with no success. so then i went to Mr. Drill.. i bought 4 drill bits from lowes.. and the ONLY one that worked well was a carbon bit.. which wasnt that expensive.. maybe 5bucks.. well i drilled number 1, 2 and 3 out with no problems.. they were the easiest to get to. and then re- tapped them with a 25$ tap and die kit from advance auto. but the 4th closest to the firewall was a bitch and a half to get to. i ended up not gettign the drill centered so i had to tap it with a m8 x 1.50 instead of the standard m8 x 1.25. alll in all.. im happy. now i wont have an exhaust leak and my trubo will spool like its supposed to. now to fix the PS. im gonna try and get some pics b4 it gets all put back together. but im just relieved i didnt have to pull the head to get this done!
