First of all I raced a late 80's early 90's mustang gt 5.0. It was still stock so it wasn't putting out more than 200 at the wheels. To make a story short it was an easy win for me by a long shot. I love how many people in mustangs think thier fast with thier eights cylinders and still get beat by a 2.0 four cylinder. Don't get me wrong. There are many mustangs that are faster than my car in a striaght line and even some in the corners at the moment, but most just are stock and only have a flowmaster exhaust system on them. My second race wasn't much of a race. It was a later model gt or cobra. I nailed it coming off of the hwy 92 on ramp on 575 and was picking up a lot of speed. This mustang already on the highway pulled up to me in just a few seconds. By that time i slowed down to about 75 because of me not having a radar detector and being paranoid of cops. He counts off and lays rubber going 75 miles an hour!!! That's some damn serious power. By the time i reached 100 he must have been going about 150 and I never saw him after that. I just got my ass handed to me, but I was happy about that. It was an amazing sight to see and the noise was also amazing. I have raced many hondas and none have given me much of a challange besides a h22 swapped eg6 civic hatch stripped of everything. Another race was against some bmw 3 series of the previous generation. I don't know too much about bmw's but it was a coupe design. Alot like the m3 but not an m3. I dunno. Anyway, me and my friend omgtofu where going home for the understeer kings house on east piedmont. Tofu pulled up beside the bmw and I was behind it. He didn't rev his engine signaling he wanted to race so I took of at a normal pace. I saw him start to pull away at a more than regular pace and found out he was flooring it. Tofu must have had the same thought beacase he started to nail the gas too. Around the same time I was in second gear around 4000 rpms when I floored it. I had to wait until 6000 for my vtec to kick in before I could catch up. Tofu backed off a little so I could pass by him and overtake the bmw. I never knew they were so slow. (Must be partially to the weight those things have to carry around) I passed by him probably doing 10 mph more than what he was doing and I started later. This all happened in a span of about seven to ten seconds I guess. Once again I slowed down because of my paranioa of cops and let him pass by. We turned onto bells ferry and he went to barret. That's all so far. I'll keep posting my races as they come along, and hopefully civics with spoiles ang fart mufflers will stop trying to race me and get thier ass beaten. Alas, I do not think that will happen any time soon. Arg too much typing.
