It is for pulsations in the line and to possibly help cool the fluid a tad, but mostly for vibrations.

You could probably ditch it, but idk what the steering will feel like.

it doesn't see any pressure.. so it should be fine...

its for cooling mostly, never tried taking it off. You should be the test bunny on that one. Lemme know how it goes rofl

It is for cooling. You can put an external cooler in place of the line to shorten the length but then again you'd have a cooler to place somewhere.

if u want extra cooling u can get a p.s. cooler off of a 90 altima.. and run a line off the turn around on the passenger side peice and run the small oil cool behind the bumper.. but it sound like ur trying to get rid of stuff in he engine bay instead of add stuff. but i would not recommend pulling a p.s. cooling line off since we work our p.s. pretty hard at drift event.

meh...i wanted to get rid of it because it was just dangling there.the brackets that hold it down broke and i wanted to take the easy route and get rid of it if it was possible. booooo.i guess ill have to make a bracket for it. booooooooo.

I do remember though.. i didn't give you a banjo fitting for it... which i found while cleaning up my garage.

its missing a banjo fitting and nut.
